Fabrizio Davide

Full professor at the University of Studies “Guglielmo Marconi”, teaching courses on future internet and innovation models for economy and society. He received a degree in electronic engineering with honors from the University of Bologna, Italy (1988) and a Ph.D. in electronic engineering from the University of L’Aquila, Italy (1994).

Till 2010 he has been an executive in the Telecom Italia Group, involved in cloud computing (SaaS and IaaS) for the public sector and IT governance. He has coordinated a number of EU-funded RTD projects in the ICT Work Programme (the Integrated Project PASION, funded under FET Proactive in FP6, and CROSS, funded under the CIP Programme, being the most recent) and is a member of European Union panels for the design of research programs and the evaluation of research proposals. He has published over 70 papers in refereed journals and conferences, as well as several book chapters and is the inventor of an international patent on measurement of chaotic processes. He is editor of the series Emerging Communications (Amsterdam, IOS Press).
